So tired! The first week of school is so exhausting! We’ve survived day two. This year, we are doing a new system to help manage behaviors. This year, the teacher has more than 20 years experience. This year, we have three years of schooling, one at the same school, under our belts. This year, we finally acknowledge the need to honor transitions. This year, we had the uniforms and school picked out before the first day. This year, we have a jump on getting up and getting prepped.

Here’s to first grade!

All the World’s a Stage

All the World’s a Stage

All the world’s a stage. This keeps coming up for me. When I read as a lecture during Catholic mass, but especially when I help put on an event. Each space has its directors, its producers, its actors who all play a pivotal role. Each space has its problems and everyone has to pivot. And, the thought has occurred to me – everyone should, yes, I daresay should, take some acting classes in their formative years so they can truly learn the ins and outs of “all the world’s a stage.”
