Work

This is fairly typical look at my desk at any given point during the day.

Pardon the blurry image. This represents a fairly typical day at work. My planner is hoisted off to my left, in front of me is my computer, and to the right are various files, a relatively empty work space, and various food items (fruit, oatmeal, trail mix, burrito for lunch, etc.). I refer to my planner often during the day, a habit I formed over the years. This is my Friday post. Happy Friday!

I appreciate this post as it gives me a somewhat more accurate mental image to attach to my thoughts of “Michelle at work”. Maybe you could pan out a little on the next one?

As I sit on the plane, surrounded by the hum of the engine and the chill of the window, I can’t help but notice the person in front of me repeatedly adjusting their seat, each movement a grating assault on my laptop screen. The journey back to Portland, high above the clouds, prompts reflections on the comforts of home and the complexities of travel.
