I have Verve Hosting. Like many hosting providers, they have scripts to make installation of databases and programs easier. I have been learning the new services our internet provides, and with my website, I have been exploring with all these great new programs. I’ve been installing forums, black boards, and wikis – just because I can. It’s been a pleasure to learn. So, this is my first post on my (not bug proof) first word press installation, on my domain.

As I sit on the plane, surrounded by the hum of the engine and the chill of the window, I can’t help but notice the person in front of me repeatedly adjusting their seat, each movement a grating assault on my laptop screen. The journey back to Portland, high above the clouds, prompts reflections on the comforts of home and the complexities of travel.
