Another way to make your whites whiter is to hang them on the line to dry. The sun’s natural bleaching powers will make your whites whiter naturally without the caustic, toxic effects of bleach.

I chose not to use bleach over 7 years ago when I realized its toxic effects. Over-the-counter-household cleaners have been shown to contribute to cancer, allergies, asthma, and immune disorders. Having a baby has emphasized my reasons for not choosing bleach and these ‘traditional cleaners’. Using vinegar, baking soda, and mild soaps are good enough and get things clean enough and white enough. Now, add the sun’s natural power and your clothes should be looking and smelling like daisies.
