My Values

I hold space for women to connect.

We are better together, and we are starved for connection. From a heart centered place, I hold space for these connections to flourish. When these connections flourish, we increase our opportunity to improve the world.

Value: Love

Definition: We have a shortage of open-giving love in our world. Leading with love in all conversations and actions is one way to increase the stability of our world.

As a leader in my community, I practice this by:

  • Action: Reserving judgement
  • Action: Asking how to help
  • Action: Being affectionate

Value: Share stories

Definition: What would happen to our world if every interaction left someone better than how we found them? I believe it would bring forth amazing things.

As a leader in my community, I practice this by:

  • Action: Being kind
  • Action: Showing up to serve
  • Action: Asking how to serve

Value: Change lives for the better

Definition: We all have a story of how we got here and what’s to come. One of our jobs is to share our stories so that others may reflect, learn, and be with us as we walk in this world together.

As a leader in my community, I practice this by:

  • Action: Holding space
  • Action: Ensuring all voices are heard
  • Action: Asking good questions

Value: Break down barriers

Definition: We have so much potential and sometimes it feels as if it’s just out of reach. Let’s leap together over that fence to break down that wall so we can unleash our potential, together.

As a leader in my community, I practice this by:

  • Action: Listening to understand
  • Action: Encouraging imperfect action
  • Action: Following up

Value: Bring women together

Definition: What would happen if women controlled the purse strings in business and in family? What would that look like? Women, when centered in joy can guide us toward a more compassionate, loving world, where we all can shine.

As a leader in my community, I practice this by:

  • Action: Holding space
  • Action: Finding opportunities for connection
  • Action: Asking women to participate

Value: Everyone is valuable

Definition: I firmly believe we all have gifts to give this world. I firmly believe no person is less than or greater than another. It is our job to see each other, truly, as equals and appreciate the varied skills we all have.

As a leader in my community, I practice this by:

  • Action: Loving all people, no matter their supposed status
  • Action: Appreciating all gifts, no matter how well I understand them
  • Action: Accepting and promoting diversity
